ArrowSmith 1.0 [ARROWSM]
   Cursor Utilities

allows you to change the default Windows mouse pointer and wait symbol. You
can simply click on one of the 66 cursors/symbols that are included to make
the change. You can also configure Windows to start with a selected
pointer. This is an extremely useful utility for laptop users. <ARROW.PCX>

The Cleaners [CLEANRS]

contains a set of three programs to help you organize and clean up your
collections of ICO, BMP, and WAV/MIDI files:

ICONCLEN allows you to view/copy /delete/move icon files. It also has a
special feature to save any icon as a BMP file.

BMPCLEN lets you view/copy/delete/move BMP files, and features the ability
to select a file for the current wallpaper.

WAVCLEN allows you to listen to Wave and MIDI files, and copy/delete/move
files while you listen. VBRUN300 is required.

Dot [DOT]

is a deceptively simple little slide-the-pieces puzzle where you try to
move the bulls-eye inside the circle. This is much harder than it looks.

Smart Association 1.0.2 [SMARTA]

pops up a multiple-choice list to associate for each specific file
extension. This program also features a unique learning mode that can
automatically launch an appropriate application if you have chosen to
associate it at least 20 times previously. Requires VBRUN200.

Softline Ticker 4.0 [TICKER]

is a unique "ticker tape" scrolling message display package. You can create
up to five different messages of up to 450 characters each. Other features
include speed control, and the ability to import images via the clipboard.

Travel Clock 1.01 [TRVLCLK]

helps you track the date and time in multiple time zones. The small
unobtrusive display is perfect for laptops. This is an excellent utility
for travellers or persons that do business with foreign countries.

Watchman [WATCHMN]

is an advanced file protection application. It automatically checks for any
changes to WIN.INI, SYSTEM.INI, or any other file you specify.

Every time you boot Windows it checks for changes and gives you options to
accept the changes or restore them to the last backup copy. There is even a
DOS application that allows you to restore files in case Windows refuses to
start. Requires WIN31.

Wave File Player. [WAVPLAY]

is a simple WAV file player. Once you associate WAV files to this utility,
all you have to do is double click on a sound file in File manager to hear
it play. This is a fast and easy way to preview sounds. Requires VBRUN300.

WinBoot Lite 1.10 [WBLITE]

offers you a choice of either loading Windows directly from the
AUTOEXEC.BAT file or dropping to a DOS command line. Requires DOS 6.0.

is a unique character-insertion utility. Its main advantage over Windows
Character Map is the ability to directly paste a character using the mouse.
Other features include clipboard support, stay-on-top options, and more.

International Keyboard Kit 1.3 [IKK]

allows you to instantly switch back and forth between your main keyboard
layout and a foreign language configuration. Features include TrueType font

is a fast program launching utility. It allows you to search for and run
applications by typing in a portion of the icon name. The program can be
invoked by simply pressing a hotkey.

is designed to keep applications from being run more than once. If it
determines that the program is already running then the focus is switched
to that program, otherwise the new program is spawned.

Trio 1.0 [TRIO]

is an interesting puzzle game for Windows. The game consists of 81 cards
with different colored shapes. To form a Trio and remove cards, you must
select three cards where each of the attributes (quantity, shape,
color/shading) are all the same or all different. You'll definitely have to
put on your thinking cap for this one! Requires VBRUN200. <TRIO.PCX>

VBUSE [VBUSE]

is a DOS command line utility that tells you what version of VBRUN is
required for a particular EXE.

WinDialer 4.0 [WINDIAL]

is a Windows name and address database with a built-in phone dialer.

WinHog 2.0 [WINHOG]
   System Analysis

provides a colorful graphic pie chart depicting the relative size of the

allows you to print blank music paper. Support is provided for both letter
and legal size paper. Other features include regular or compressed printing

Task Killer 1.0 [TKILLER]
   Misc. Utilities
   Hyperion Microsystems; $15
can display all of the modules (DLL's and EXE's) currently loaded in
Windows. It can also terminate any module, decrement the usage count of
DLL's, create/compare/print module lists, and more. This is a useful tool
for tech support personnel, programmers, and network administrators.

WMF2BMP 2.0 [WMF2BMP]
   Graphics Utilities

converts standard WMF graphics to Windows BMP files. Features include full
scaling options to 1024 pixels, batch conversions, and more. Requires

GrafPapr 0.100 [GP0100] (Custom Software Services; $20) - generates graph
paper for linear, linear-logarithmic, and polar graphs.

Pyramid 1.3 [PYR13] (Philip Bush; $5) - is an interesting version of
solitaire. You must pair cards whose value totals 13 to remove them from
the pyramid display. This can be a difficult game to win. Requires
VBRUN300.

update, and maintain a dBASE IV table, complete with a routine to "pack"
the database.

Browse Bound Control [BBCC]

Data control to browse any RecordSet. There are full "on-the-spot" editing
facilities with data pre- and postvalidation.

You can freeze columns at the left edge, set column and header text

There are locked doors, secret doors, ropes to climb, ladders to descend,

Prairie Dog Hunt 1.0 for Windows [WINDOG]

is based on the cutesy arcade game where you bean helpless prairie dogs
with a hammer as they emerge from their holes. However, in this game you
have a choice of high-powered firearms and get to blast the furry little
pests into a bloody stain.

The impressive 256-color animated graphics and digitized sound effects make
the massacre all the more enjoyable. You can control the number of dogs,
and how many rounds of ammo you get. Watch out for the occasional rabid
rodent, because if you get bitten five times you will die of rabies.

is a fast and fun animated game for Windows. Your runner must go from level
to level turning on control lights and gathering fuel cannisters.

and hinder your progress, a wizard that will grant you another life,

is a game where you must try to capture more territory than your opponent.
You can play against computer-controlled players or a friend connected via

You must safely land your spacecraft on the treacherous terrain of several

also be used.

Windows Help system, complete with graphics and pop-up word definitions.

Paint Shop Pro 2.0 [PSP1, PSP2]

is a powerful image viewer, converter, and editor for Windows 3.1. This
major upgrade adds a host of useful new features, including the ability to
open multiple images, image rotation in 1 degree increments, image

support for scanners.

IFF, REL, LBM, CUT, JIF/JPG, PCD (Kodak Photo CD), EPS, CLP, and WMF images
are now supported. Other new features include OLE support, improved
printing options, batch conversions, a preview of manipulated images, a
handy toolbar, and much more. A 286 or better machine is required, and at
least a 256-color Windows driver is recommended. A scaled-down version

is a line-by-line file comparison utility which shows differences between
two text files. Each file being compared has its own window arranged
vertically or horizontally with synchronized scrolling in either direction.

Other features include split/composite view, full/abbreviated listing,

and new versions of important files such as WIN.INI and CONFIG.SYS.
